more than 是“比。。。多”的意思，是比较级，你可能没学呢吧。two months的意思是“两个月” more than two months 的意思是“两个多月”“two months”可不是时间状语啊，要加上for，“for two months”才是完整的状语。是可以放到句尾的。状语放句首还是句尾都可以。
