我认为这样翻才是正确的，把原文的思想和情感都带在里面。We really thought we could become like them, but only when the candle was burned to its end, when the fairy tale between us and them brought to a close, did we realised, that the house hadn't turned into a pumpkin, that the courser hadn't turned back into a mouse, and that everybody had not lost a crystal shoe chillily and beautifully。 But it was to everybody's actual and real experience that the pain felt from the toll of the bell was grand and bone-chilling。Nonetheless, please don't cry, because the seasons will still come and go, both the princess and the prince will gradually become disillusioned with themselves, and then they will begin to understand how the fairy tale would end---whereupon, after all the nebulous dreams have been broken, the princess and the prince will eternally keep their mouths shut。
