他们仅仅很片面的、很肤浅地反映了事物的局部而非本质。are和one-sided and superficial构成系表结构，是真正的主语，而reflecting...则是现在份词短语做伴随状语。

第二个reflecting与前一个reflecting是并列关系，当然也算表语一部分，their essence是作not reflecting的宾语。个人觉得，这样进行语法分析意义不大，其实弄懂句子意思才最关键：他们只是片面而肤浅的，反映事物不全面，不能反映事物的本质。
