全句的愿意应是： 流过这个城市的河流很长。 显然that flows through the town是river的定语，只不过是一个从句作定语罢了。它是由关系词that来引导的。选择D就没有这个引导词了。

要是选D的话，就必须改为 the one which flows，要记住定语从句必须有引导词（比如which、that、where……）

我们最好还原句子来看看the river that flows is ...是从句啊，一条流动的河 ,主语是the river 但是D答案，the river the one flows is ..这样肯定不行拉，或者the river is the one flows though the town very long ,这样的句式就没有问题，但意思就不大对劲拉
