对于定语从句应一点一点的分析.第一句话原为He lives in the house,the house needs repairing.化成定于从句则为:The house which(that) he lives in needs repairing.其中,in可以移至which(that)前面.而that前不能加介词,故用which,因此变成了现在的样子.而当先行词作宾语时,that可省略,因此次句又可写成The house he lives in needs repairing.后句与此句大致相同.
