一：1.where是修饰前面的北京的，代替in which。 d是连接两个并列结构的句子或词语，in the city和in it是并列的关系。二： is ...that是强调句的结构，原句中如果抽掉it is ...that仍能够构成一个句子，则这是一个强调句。而①中抽掉it is ...that后，句子不能成立，所以是一个状语从句，要用when来代替时间。nine o'clock不能作为状语。而加了介词at后就能做状语。

1中第一个句子是一个定语从句，第二个句子是一个并列句，因为第二个句子中有一个并列连词and ２中第一个句子是一个定语从句，第二个句子是一个强调句，如果把第二个句子中的it is ...that 去掉，把语序稍稍调整一下就是一个完整的句子，这是判断是不是强调句的一个好办法．
