I hurried home from school to make a cake for Mum because it' s her birthday. I thought Alice was watching television, but unfortunately（不幸地）she came into the kitchen to ask what I was doing. When I told her, she wanted to help of course. I made her promise to be careful, but, as usual, it was a disaster（灾难）. First of all, she got out the flour（面粉）.She stood on the edge of a chair to reach the cupboard and fell off. She didn' t hurt herself, but the flour went all over the floor. When we had brushed up the flour, Alice took the eggs out of the frighe. As she was carrying them, her feet slipped（滑跌）on the flour. The eggs flew out of Alice' s hands, fell to the floor and broke. Poor Alice! She was so upset（心烦意乱）. Of course, she said sorry, but I couldn' t make a cake for Mum. I had to give Alice some money and send her to the shop to buy a cake for Mum instead!

我从学校里匆匆的跑回家，因为我要为即将过生日的妈妈制作一个生日蛋糕。我向爱丽丝一定是在看电视，但不幸的是，她走进了厨房并询问我在干什么。当我告诉她我的想法是，她确信要帮助我，我让他承诺一定要非常仔细认真，但是，和往常一样，这又是一个灾难。首先她拿出了面粉，当她站在椅子的边缘想要用手到达碗柜时却摔了下来，虽然她没有伤到自己，但是面粉却都撒到了地板上，当我们将地板扫干净之后，爱丽丝又从冰箱里拿出了鸡蛋，同样当她拿着鸡蛋的时候又摔在了地板上，鸡蛋从爱丽丝的手里飞了出来，全部打碎在地板上。可怜的爱丽丝，她是如此的心烦意乱！当然她感到很抱歉，但是我已不能为妈妈制作蛋糕了。我不得不将钱给爱丽丝并让他去商店买一个生日蛋糕给妈妈！
