HolidaysHolidays are different in China and America. At first, holidays in China last for a long period. There have three main long holidays, they are Labor holiday, which is from May 1st to 7th; National holiday, from Oct. 1st to 7th, and lunar New Year, from lunar Jan. 1st to 7th. All of them have seven days, so people can have a good vocation in those seven days. However, all the holidays in America are less than five days, such as four days on both Christmas and Thanksgiving. People cannot have comfortable travel in four days. There have only three days weekend for Labor Day and Memorial Day. Sometimes, New Year and Independence Day only has one day. Second, in China, all the stores are still open in holidays, so people can go shopping at anytime they want. It is also a great time for some women to go shopping because they don’t have enough time to do that in the work-time. It is different in America, most American stores are closed in the holidays, just like Costco, Wal-Mart, Target and so on. Those people who don’t travel outside can do is to stay in the home for all the whole holiday. If I could not go shopping in the holidays and only stay in the home, I would feel very boring.Because of all these reasons, I would like to spend my holidays in China
