这样翻译不行。首先，不能用介词"with"，给某人写信应该是用"write to sb."，介词只能用"to"。这是固定词组。再有就是"you father"应该改为："your father"。我觉得到是可以翻成：You often write letters to your father. 不过"write to" 本身就是写信的意思，所以就不必加"letters"了。而且在习惯用法上，也是直接用"write to"的。
