楼上说的RECIPROCAL是指数学上的那个“倒数”，并非指“从后往前数”。我觉得要表达后者的意思可以说the 1st one from the bottom,依次类推。甲:我们学校应该有60名学生党员 Maybe there are 60 party members as students. 乙:哪里,我们系都不止. I don\'t think so.There\'are more than 60 only in our department.

我认为只有Norman老师的回答最准确，英语的"倒数..."就是last but one...two...three and so on.而其他的表述，大多数都是望文生义，还有的干脆就是Chinglish,例如把“哪里”译成where等等，不一而足。

哪有那么复杂！倒数第一就是THE LAST，倒数第二是THE SECOND LAST，依次类推。
