新概念英语第三册中有一小段是：...The editor sent the journalist two more faxes,but received no reply.He sent yet another fax informing the journalist that if he did not reply soon he would be filed.上面“he sent yet...”一句中yet的意义和用法是什么？我翻了高阶词典，似乎都没有太搭配的用法啊。就此请教大家。

此处的yet不是与he sent固定搭配的，yet是副词，与once或again连用时，表示“再...又...”，如：yet more或yet again（再一次），yet也可和another连用，表示又...再...如:another and yet another(一个又一个；接二连三),此句中前面用了two more后面又用another，所以yet是修饰another，用来加强语气的。
