other通常是形容词，修饰别的名词；或者作代词，被the修饰，the other表示“另外的那个...”。other使用的情形有：1.the other（=the other+单数名词）；2.the other +复数名词（=the others)；3.the other +单数名词；4.other +复数名词（=others;没有other+单数名词 --有another+单数名词）。others有两种情形：1.单others就是相当other+复数名词；2.the others= the other +复数名词.
